Origin

Why wpAVIO exists.

Aviation organizations get burned by generalist web agencies. Not occasionally — routinely. A flight school hires a marketing firm that builds car-dealership sites on the side. An EAA chapter spends a year explaining what an EAA chapter is to its own web team. An FBO ends up with a hangar-rental page written by someone who has never set foot on a ramp.

We watched it happen for too long. The pattern was always the same: a site launched, then abandoned. A developer who didn’t return calls. Hosting that no one understood. Plugins six versions behind. A contact form that quietly stopped working in March.

A specialist will beat a generalist every time — if the specialist is honest about what they do.

So we built wpAVIO™ with a hard niche lock. Aviation organizations only. We turn down everyone else. That means every project starts with shared vocabulary — you don’t have to explain a Class B airspace, a Part 61 vs Part 141 program, an LSA, or a tailwheel endorsement. It also means every site we build benefits every other site under our care. Lessons compound. Knowledge stays in the family.

The result is a firm that knows the difference between an EAA chapter and a Civil Air Patrol squadron, between an FBO and a Part 145 repair station, between a 501(c)(3) aviation foundation and a 501(c)(7) flying club. Every conversation starts a few steps ahead of where a generalist would be.
