LearnBuildSoar
Case Study 01 Youth Aviation Education Launched April 2026
LearnBuildSoar.
From founding meeting to launch.
LearnBuildSoar.com is the digital home of the Brazos River Soaring Association — a volunteer-led nonprofit in Granbury, Texas offering free glider flight training, hands-on aircraft restoration, and a gamified achievement certification program across three disciplines: Learn, Build, and Soar. The site was built from scratch in April 2026, going from no web presence to a fully operational nine-page platform, certificate system, and trifold brochure in a single accelerated build window.
01 · Situation
What was there before.
Before the build, the Brazos River Soaring Association had no web presence of any kind — no domain, no social profiles, no digital assets. The organization existed entirely through word of mouth, EAA Young Eagles event participation, and the personal networks of founders Dick Keyt and Ray Lewis. There was no way for a prospective student, donor, or sponsor to find, evaluate, or contact the organization digitally.
Without a web presence, the association had no mechanism to recruit students, attract sponsors, document its achievement program, or position itself for grant funding from organizations like the AOPA Foundation, EAA Foundation, or corporate STEM giving programs. The program’s zero-cost participation model — its strongest differentiator — was effectively invisible to every family, donor, and institution that could have benefited from it.
The aircraft, instructors, grass airstrip, and machine shop already existed. Everything needed to operate was in place. The missing piece was a way for the world to know it.
The decision to build came in April 2026, triggered by attending the association’s founding organizational meeting at Ray Lewis’s home in Pecan Plantation, Granbury — held immediately following a Young Eagles event on April 17–18, 2026. The build began the same week.
02 · Build
What we built.
Foundation-tier build, with Discovery conducted inside the founding organizational meeting itself. The full nine-page site, 31-certificate system, trifold brochure, and brand identity were delivered within days of the initial session. Four decisions shaped the result.
03 · At launch
What got delivered.
Measured against a zero baseline — the property had no prior web presence. These are the tangible deliverables that exist today.
disciplines plus fleet, people, safety, and sponsors

across 12 categories, brochure-ready
to sponsor-ready
Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals, and organic traffic data will be added as the post-launch measurement window matures.
04 · Care
What ongoing looks like.
LearnBuildSoar is a nonprofit volunteer organization with no recurring revenue at launch. Care tier and cadence will be established as sponsorship and donor revenue mature.
